30 Day Mind, Body, and Spirit Challenge

Hey Guys! If you've been following me for a while, you know I LOVE me some health challenges. So I decided it was time to create one! I've been traveling nonstop and I'm finally able to settle in for the next while and give my health some well deserved TLC.

However, this year I'm doing something different. The ultimate goal is to lose weight, but I want to ensure I fuel my soul while doing so! So herein lies the Mind, Body, and Spirit challenge!! Read on for details

CHALLENGE DATES: March 10 - April 8

No need to wait until Monday... or until the 1st of the month. We are starting NOW!

BODY

  • Be active a minimum of 4 times per week
  • Stretch for 1 hour, 3 times per week
  • Eat 4 meals per day, consistently. Meals will be healthy and filled with an equal balance of Fats/Carbs/Protein
  • ONE cheat meal per week
  • ONE drink event per week
  • Drink a minimum of 2 litres of water per day

Goal: Lose this stubborn 7-10lbs I've gained while traveling and SHRED!

MIND/SPIRIT

This is the new addition this year. While losing weight, I also plan to ensure I'm focusing on the things that bring me joy! So I've created a calendar with small acts that I know will fuel my soul. Chances are, many of these things I (and you!) do on a day to day. This calendar is to serve as a reminder that life is beautiful and we should do things daily to make us happy.

Goal: Nourish and feed my soul daily

These daily "feel goods" may not apply to you! For instance - you may hate jelly beans (and if you do, I'm so sorry for you)... so be sure to make amendments.  The bottom line - do something to ensure you feel good on all fronts, daily. 

MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT. Remember friends, without one, the others can't excel.

Here is my "before". No filter, no posing, no flexing... just me! While I know I look great on the outside, I'm not at my optimal state. And that's all I want to be... my best version of me!
