Healthy (Coconut) French Toast
Here's a healthy way to enjoy a life long favourite! Best part - takes less than 10 minutes to make!
1 egg and 1 egg white
1/4 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1tsp of vanilla
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp of shredded unsweetened coconut
2 slices of Ezekiel Bread
Beat egg/egg whites and add vanilla, almond milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp of unsweetened coconut shreds. Mix well.
Dip Ezekiel Bread into mixture until well-saturated
On medium heat, pan-fry bread (using a non stick pan) until golden brown
Top with berries, coconut flakes, and maple syrup
