Healthy (Coconut) French Toast
Here's a healthy way to enjoy a life long favourite! Best part - takes less than 10 minutes to make!
- 1 egg and 1 egg white
- 1/4 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1tsp of vanilla
- 1/4 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 tsp of shredded unsweetened coconut
- 2 slices of Ezekiel Bread
- Beat egg/egg whites and add vanilla, almond milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp of unsweetened coconut shreds. Mix well.
- Dip Ezekial Bread into mixture until well saturated
- On medium heat, pan fry bread (using a non stick pan) until golden brown
- Top with berries, coconut flakes, and maple syrup
